If you use DataSocial

• Sign-in. We use Clerk for accounts. When you sign in (with Google or email) we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We use them to run your account, and nothing else.
• Payments. We use Stripe. Card details go to Stripe, never to us. We keep a record of what you bought and your credit balance.
• Queries. We log the queries you run (the SQL text, time, size and cost) to bill credits, set quotas and stop abuse. Anonymous visitors are rate-limited by IP address.
• “Ask AI”. If you use it, your question and the table descriptions are sent to an AI model provider (through OpenRouter) to write SQL. Don’t put personal information in a question.
• We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use advertising trackers.

If you are a TikTok creator

DataSocial holds data from public TikTok profiles, videos and sounds: things like usernames, bios, follower counts and video statistics, and how they change over time. Some bios include a business email the creator chose to publish.

To have your profile removed (or its email hidden), email us with your TikTok username. We remove it within 30 days and keep it out of future collection.

Keeping and deleting

Account data is kept while your account is open. To delete your account and its data, email us; we do it within 30 days. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires.

If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
